Abstract
We will present the variable speed random walk on dynamical i.i.d. conductances on the d-dimensional lattice. After showing that the walk has a strictly positive linear speed, we will study the speed as a function of the bias. We will also compare the speed of the walk on dynamical uniformly elliptic conductances to the speed of the walk on dynamical percolation.
About Eszter
Eszter is currently a PhD student at TU Munich under the supervision of Nina Gantert working on random motions in random media. In particular, she studies various types of biased random walks among random conductances and how different parameters of the model affect the speed of the random walk.
